Hi friends! I was back at it again this past week, and let me tell you all about it.
You know what’s amazing on a warm, sunny day? A little adventure and a cool treat. Sometimes those treats are just for the humans… but other times they’re for pups like me.
This past Thursday, we took a stroll to Rocky Point in Port Moody. It’s one of our favourite spots, and I’m pretty sure we’ll be wandering there a lot more this summer. We started our adventure by crossing the pedestrian bridge and, as always, I had to look over the edge to see if any trains were going to rumble by. This time we didn’t get a train…we got a SkyTrain gliding past instead.
Next, we stopped at Rocky Point Ice Cream. Sadly, dogs aren’t allowed inside, so I couldn’t check out all the amazing flavours… but they do have a special doggy window just for pups like me. A whole window dedicated to dog treats? Now that’s what I call good service.
After we finished our ice cream treats, the humans cooled off at the splash park. Technically it’s for them… but I was sneaky and managed to catch a bit of the spray, which felt amazing on my fur.
We ended our adventure by exploring some of the trails before heading home. There was so much we didn’t get to see, like the pier and a few other paths, so we’ll definitely be back again soon.
